Go Wild 2023 Washington, DC Affordable Hotel Recommendations

Go Wild 2023 Tickets was released last week, and (most of) the planning community has been overjoyed with attending and traveling to Washington, D.C.! I was prepared to travel to Go Wild, but because it’s held in my city, I get to save a lot of money.

If you are a local, or perhaps you’re flying in from another city or country and would like to save some money, continue reading on! To start, if you use the link provided by Go Wild, the nightly rate is roughly $275 per night. This isn’t too bad, to begin with, but I did some research and found a few nearby hotels that will allow you to save up to $450 for your trip to Go Wild – Washington, DC, 2023!

If you were like me a year ago, you’d never heard of Go Wild, so let’s discuss exactly what it is! I’ve actually never been, so I am not an expert. Go Wild is hosted by Wild For Planners and is a yearly 3-4 day conference for planners and stationery lovers! Workshops, networking, parties, and other events are held throughout the conference, allowing you to completely indulge in all things planners, pens, paper, washi, and more without fear of your non-planner friends and family looking at you crazy.

Okay, now that is out of the way, let’s continue discussing accommodations. With tickets costing a bit more, this year at $649 for early bird and $699 for general admission to Go Wild 2023 is definitely on the pricier side. Buying the ticket alone requires saving, so traveling to an expensive city like Washington, DC, can make attending difficult if you’re not prepared!

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen my reel sharing three hotels 1 mile or less from where Go Wild 2023 will be held. Go Wild 2023 will be held in a very walkable neighborhood. Going to high school not far from the hotel, I have walked this neighborhood a ton

However, I’d like to preface that with dates in early March, the weather may average temperature between the mid-40s to 50s. If this is cold to you, walking one mile may not be fun. Instead, you can rent a motorized scooter for just dollars (read more on renting scooters, bikes, and mopeds in Washington, DC here) and get to your hotel in 3 – 7 minutes.

Without further ado, I am listing a few options for you to consider below—the prices listed are at the time of my search on September 18, 2022.

When I created my reel, I didn’t mention or think of Air BnB. But, again, Dupont Circle is a great walkable neighborhood with a lot to offer, so I am sure there’s an Air Bnb you can rent close by!
