Festival Season Essentials You Need!

all the essentials you need for festival season 2023

Festival and concert season is upon us! I am not attending Coachella this year, but I am attending two concerts – Beyonce and Lizzo! If I have it my way, I will also see Sam Smith when he comes to Washington, DC.

When you are out there on the field at festivals, you only need a few things as vendors are generally available to sell food and drinks, but what about the things you only think about once you need them? There are quite a few, and they take up very little space! Seriously, most of these can fit in a fanny pack. In need of a clear bag, got you here!

Today, I am sharing my top recommended essentials you should carry in your fanny pack or backpack while you vibe out this festival and concert season in my Amazon Store. You won’t pay anything additional, but if you use my link I may earn a very small commission. Of course, everything listed below is travel size, too!

Sunscreen: Sunscreen will provide protection while on the field for several hours! Grab my recommended sunscreens here.

Hydration Electrolyte Packets (Drip-Drop) – Dancing under the 98-degree sun and moon for many hours will lead to dehydration! If you’re attending Coachella, Drip-Drop was a sponsor and provided free packets last year. However, having extra to mix with your water for added hydration boost won’t hurt.

Personal fan: It’s hot, and the AC is only a reality at festivals if you’re a VIP. Grab one to keep in your fanny pack. Here are my recommendations.

Card wallet: You want to avoid lugging around your usual bag. A small card wallet that has your ID and go-to card and a $20 bill is all you will need! You can even keep this in your pocket.

Travel size Tylenol: This doesn’t need an explanation. Have it when you need it!

Perfume Atomizer: None of my perfume bottles are under the travel size restrictions when flying, so a perfume atomizer allows me to travel and carry my favorite fragrances!

Hand Sanitizer: While sanitizer stations are relatively common, it doesn’t hurt to have your own hand sanitizer available when needed!

Facial Spray: Need a quick face refresh? Cool down with a quick burst of Evian’s facial spray.

Individual Wipes: Stay fresh down there even when you’re on the go and using portable potties! These will come in handy when you least expect them.

These are my top recommendations when attending festivals such as Coachella. Check out my other blog post on 7 things I learned after my first trip to Coachella What are your top carry items in your fanny pack (or backpack) when attending festivals? Leave your recs below!
